The filter kit comes complete with the following:
– Aquati Premium 5 Stage Ultrafiltration (UF) Under Sink Water Filter
– 2x 2 meter lengths of tubing
– Mains connector: 3/4″ under sink in-line connector – to connect onto your 3/4″ hosepipe outlet with 1/4″ ball valve (to isolate water to change filters) specially designed intermediate fitting to connect of water feed pipe (washing machine, dishwasher) with 1/4″ valve to connect onto your 1/4″ pipe.)
– Housing spanner – to open the pods when filters need changing
– Chrome Faucet complete with all the fittings you need to connect to your system
Filters’ Specifications:
Stage 1:
Sediment Filter Cartridge.
Polypropylene foam filter cartridge removes sand, rust, silt and other sediments up to 5 Micron. They are resistant to chemicals and purify water for drinking and general purposes.
Stage 2:
Softening Filter Cartridge.
Filtrating medium in form of fine ion exchange resin. This unit is designated to reduce limescale from your water, improve its taste and reduce odour. The softening effect takes place within the filter without adding any salt or chemicals into the water. The filter removes harmful substances and reduce limescale, prolonging life-span of your home appliances such as kettle or coffee machine
Stage 3:
Activated Carbon Block Cartridge.
The carbon is formed in specially pressured, high density blocks to gain high adsorption rate of chlorine, other chemicals and multiparticle organic substances.
Stage 4:
Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane.
The ultrafiltration membrane is a high-performance filtration element designed to remove suspended solids, bacteria, some viruses, and other contaminants from water, while retaining beneficial minerals. With pore sizes typically around 0.01 micron, it provides an effective barrier against harmful microorganisms and turbidity, delivering clean, safe, eco-friendly and great-tasting water.
